What I Do at Southwest Michigan First

My job can primarily be summed up with three main functions. First, I get the pleasure of marketing our area’s economic development assets to attract businesses that fit our community’s growth ambitions. Second, I get to serve our existing businesses and stakeholders by helping to connect them to beneficial resources and networks. Third, I get to tell the story of our community’s successes and needs through data.

The variety. Whether I am feeling adventurous, relaxed, ambitious, reserved, out-going, outdoorsy, athletic, or quiet there is always something enjoyable to do that fits any those characteristics.
